Josh Kleber

Who am I?
My name is Josh Kleber and I am a game designer who specializes in content and system design. All of my life I have been playing video games, card games, and board games, while making my own versions in my free time. I have spent four years studying at Champlain College and majored in Game Design.
I am currently working for Voodoo Studios on Block Jam 3D & Block Pals as a level designer. My main focus was on level creation and tweaking levels utilizing live data in order to balance churn and monetization.
Previously, I worked as a Senior Game Designer at Double Loop Games working on Puzzle Farm, and Ashe Cove: A Merge Mystery. I crafted and presented Feature Specs & Design Documents along with updating them regularly. I Tuned and Implemented Quests along with their respective Requirements and Player Rewards.
A few years ago, I worked at Jam City as a Game Designer on the games Vineyard Valley, and Family Guy; Another Freakin' Mobile Game. I was in charge of live level tuning for said games and also created over 1,000 levels during my time there. I also created specs and presentations for new mechanics and events.
Before Jam City, I worked at Storm8 as an Associate Game Designer where I created puzzles for their game Candy Blast Mania. Along with the rest of the team there, I created over 200 levels, tuned over 1,000, and worked on several one pagers and specs.
